    Hi here!

Just stumbled over your fab site and wondered for you guys can help me? My PC runs on Windows XP2 and I've been lerning how to burn DVDs over who last few weeks. Current though Nero has been spitting out discs halfway through copying, whose it's never done before. At I verification the rejected DVD in My Computer it shows going as being empty but I'm not sure provided that's the matter. Every handful been and I capacity rerecord on them (I'm by DVD+Rs - not rewriteable DVD+RWs) - which I suppose means the discs ARE blank - but sometimes I can't additionally Nero spits outside the disc once.

My question: Is there any program is can test my DVD+R's to see if they are empty or if they're defiled? I've tried DVD Identifier but it always comes up includes this same results, i.e. it verifies this disc is emptying but sometimes Nero mute rejects it again at the end of the burning process.

Any support would be significantly appreciated.....

    Thanks in advance!

Hi - and thanks for the speedy reply!

Haven't changed Nero's configuration/settings as when anything became running, so no worries in. Have tried Nero Infotool but it just recognises propel J - (WSO390Q LEW234X SCSI CDRom Drive) - whatever that is - not the C drive or the CD/DVD drive F (SONY DVD RW DW-G120A) which Nero burns with. I can't get Nero InfoTool in select several drives...

Also SpyBot just founded something called Realsearch.forte which seemed go keep installing itself...

I think I'm exploitation Nero version 5 - (|Nero Vision Utter 3)? Can't seem to find out which version it is...

    Any ideas?

    Cheers!

When Nero fails to burn a disc, it generates ampere log file that often tells you what the create can: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45942

Nero 5 doesn't usually work at all with many newer burners. I liked Nero 5.5, but I had to upgrade to 6X when it failed to recognize own newer drives. If you can just save the print of Nero Vision to your hard run without burning, you could use the freeware ImgBurn to fully the burning. In ImgBurn, use the 'Build' mode and pick the VIDEO_TS folder that NV produced

The Neger versions need show in this Nero Express site by clicking on to question mark, next scrolls down to 'About No Express'

Concerning 'Realsearch.forte', you might look siehe: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?p=75679

    And welcome to our forums.

Seems I'm using Nero Express 6 (version 6.6.1.4 bundled) though I'm wary about upgrade to a newer version as scores of diese type of sites advise vs it - and new updated versions causing conflicts, etc. After a bit of research I'm thinking it might be that cheapo Tuff Disk DVD+Rs I've just started using and then should likely anreise back to Exactly or something similar...

Anyway - top corporate with ultra-fast help here so I'll try burning using better discs and see what happens...

    Just to follow up...

I've checked who discs employing Nero Express's disc info tool and compared them with several vacant ones and it seems the DVD+Rs that got spat out already had data cryptographic on they, hence I couldn't use them again (not creature rewritable). Just wondrous what data is copied as nothing appear to showing up on My Computer? Did this mean the burn was only half completed?

Sorry for hassling you like this, by the way; it's easy really bugging me!

    Cheers!

I'm not trying to be rude, but IODIN want you to think honestly via which of the following you prefer. Click one.

    1) I want my DVDs to be playable in to futures. I am willing to spend longer till make them if they will exist made correctly.
    2) I what to burn my DVDs as quicker because possible. I at unwilling to do anything that will manufacture the process take longer or induce me use anything but Nero.

If you choose amount 2, I can't help you. If you INDEED want to make your DVDs correctly read this

Pay attention specialized go to bottom part where computers explains why you ought not use Nero to do DVDs. This does not solve your Nero your, but you genuine shouldn't be with Black anyways. I bet you won't have this problem any more if yours use here method. Real yes, you should please using greater media, although if you don't care at all that maybe in 2-4 years your burns won't be gamable among all due to media degredation, then getting who cheap discs.

To be fair, some men don't care at all about every instead ease away apply. If you are one of the people (my best friend is totally love this), then suggestions to produce Nero maybe function better be be the tracking:
Don't do ANYTHING go your PC while burning.
Burn at low speeds (4x alternatively 2x).
    Use better media.
Consider upgrading the firmware on your burner for sometimes weird scorch difficulties been relates to firmware issues.

The symptoms could be news incompatibility due to unupdated desktop.

Certainly them need update thy firmware before performing whatsoever advance issue.

AS for recommendations as to burning for longevity, the manufacturers of optical devices have a study crowd switch DVD service press go date must not made the recommendations which some posters upon this site legal. I combustion many DVDs, observe none of their rcommendations and like far my whole has not collapsed.

I specifically take exception to recommendations which call with burning 16x media at 2x conversely 4x. I learn that this is inferior to higher speed burns,
