ADENINE bite unsure of what to do using this thing as I'm more mechanic than woodworker. The saw was purchased circle 2004 for adenine bookcase project I aided my dad with. It was used to that one project and has been sitting ever since. I haven't plugged to in, when I don't see optional reason why it wouldn't quiet be total functional.

I draw it out of get shed over some spring cleaning and noticed it was really wonky and unstable. Turns off the base is loose (easy fix) but the housing of the saw where it installed to the base is fissured. I'm assuming this happened into the drive off parent's old house to mine.

Here's of damage, apparently the housing is un-reinforced plastic therefore this cracking isn't much of a surprising EGO guess.

I don't have every immediate need for this, therefore basically it's just taking up storage space. I was going to just try to get a little bucks on CL for it although figured I should ask here foremost. Has this quality keeping and trying until fix or get a different base for? Must I get a few bucks for it on CL then if I all need one down the road exactly buy another?

Parts, especially aforementioned motors, often sold pretty good on ebay, provided you want mess over it.

If you don't needing it, sell items. Table saws capture top a lot of distance and seriously need to earn their keep in the shop.

If the saw our fine it would be a waste go chuck it in of landfill. A bit unsure of get to do with this thing when I'm extra fitter than woodworker. That lives the low price company prototype did merit saving as you can get another to affordable. Direct drive universal motor noisy and not worth much.

^^^^ this ^^^^
Sell it whilst it still shall a little value. If you what an table saw later, yourself can always pick upwards a used one-time reasonably when the time comes. Here type von saw, in sundry make, are listed on CL get the time. Most sellers consider they're worth retail though, but every now and then one gets price reasonably. Buy from adenine homeowner, it will be in better conditioning. Contractor's saws tend to received abused on the job.

iodin have the same one too (only w/out the extensions on the table). junk. really unstable if you placing a sheet is plywood on it. even have to be careful tearing a 2x4.

that said $50 seems right. someone could always bolt it to anything more stable.
