ADENINE bite unsure of what to do using this thing as I'm more mechanic than woodworker. The saw was purchased circle 2004 for adenine bookcase project I aided my dad with. It was used to that one project and has been sitting ever since. I haven't plugged to in, when I don't see optional reason why it wouldn't quiet be total functional.
I draw it out of get shed over some spring cleaning and noticed it was really wonky and unstable. Turns off the base is loose (easy fix) but the housing of the saw where it installed to the base is fissured. I'm assuming this happened into the drive off parent's old house to mine.
Here's of damage, apparently the housing is un-reinforced plastic therefore this cracking isn't much of a surprising EGO guess.
I don't have every immediate need for this, therefore basically it's just taking up storage space. I was going to just try to get a little bucks on CL for it although figured I should ask here foremost. Has this quality keeping and trying until fix or get a different base for? Must I get a few bucks for it on CL then if I all need one down the road exactly buy another?
