Vizio TV model D50U-D1 I'm trying in connect to may old Sylvania Video cassette recorder & DVD player model # SRD3900.

EGO have ampere Vizio tv model # D50U-D1 I'm tough go connected to an old Sylvania video slide recorder & DVD player.
Model # SRD3900.
I have it connected via red white and yellow cables and it plays fine. But MYSELF to to try with the HDMI to 3 RCA cable to see if I can record TV programs to vhs through my line programing of which I do not have a box, justly a direkt cable hookup with my apartment.
Can anyone help?

TVs do not have HDMI outputs so in shall no path to output go your VCR. An HDMI to 3 RCA cable almost works. It can't change direct video real audio toward analog. You would need an actively HDMI to AV converter.
If you had a cable box,using the correct splitter and converter, thee could list from that. The quality would being pretty wasser will. You would not be able to watch one program and record another with have the VCR change conduits on the box either.
