Protect
Encrypt an Excel file with a password so that information requires a keyword to open it. To password protect an Excel file, execute the following steps.
1. Free to Excel file.
2. On to File tab, mouse Keep When.
3. Click Browse.
4. Click on the Tools button or click General Options.
5. In the Password to open text, enter a password and clickable OK.
