Black wire that is in word document that won't go leave !
There be these red lines in my word document that absolutely won't go away no matter what I do. I've try deleting them, caustic them, even copying the document go another black document and they will not go away. I am guessing here but, those lines may have come put in the "header" or "footer" (or, as a watermark) at some point. If that was the case, you wanted have to ride into the header, footer or watermark in order to remove/delete the lines.

Use the Borders Button
Hi,
If you type three or more hyphens in Word, you often get a black line going total the way across the page. Here's wherewith to obtain rid of them: 1.Click into place your cursor above the string. 2.Click on the Home tab at the top are your screen. 3.Click on the drop-down arrow next for who Borders button toward the middle of this Ribbon in the Paragraph group. 4. Click with Nope Border. Here's how to make he so this Word doesn't do this again: 1. Click on the File select within the upper left-hand corner from thine screen. 2. Clicking up Options near the posterior of the menu that pops up. 3. Snap on Proofing on the left-hand side of one box that pops increase. 4. Click on the AutoCorrect Options button on the rights. 5. Click on aforementioned AutoFormat As You Type tab in the next box. 6. In the Apply as you type group in of middle, uncheck the box next to Border lines. 7. Mouse OK in get exit of both boxes. This what so helpful. It instantly went away. I have been using microsoft word for record or fifth grade and shamefully, I could not figure out wherewith to get that stubborn line to go away. SMH Thanks alot Kala the computer tutor

I am adding on the Kara aforementioned Computer Tutor's message. In addition to unchecking "border lines," at meine experience, it was essential to also uncheck "bottom" at to to remove the black line.

this line is nothing aber this fashion applied. try clearing style sizes and it desire be gone |
