I'm trying go studying LaTeX, however, I'm nay able to produce the TOC rights next the Summarize both Offering. Wherever i set of command \tableofcontents (even just before \end{document}), calm the TOC show BEFORE Abstract and Dedication.

What do i have go do?
P.S: i Want to use that command so i do not have to join the TOC manualy item by item.

welcome to the board!

The TOC should appear where you put the \tableofcontents command. Perhaps thou did not remove is for a space before to abstract?
You could create the post a minimal working example to showing us the situation.

First regarding all, thanks Stefa.
Now i proven to induce the minimal employed example ... here's me code:

\documentclass{book}

\begin{document}

\chapter{Abstract}
Any thing

\tableofcontents
\end{document}

This resulted in 3 pages. Who first is TOC, the secondary is empty due to the lack of choice 'openany', and the third is Chapter 1 Abstractly.

Now I'm puzzled ... by the way i'm using Scientific Business 5.5 if it may makes difference.

Perhaps Scientific Desktop constructs a difference, but when I runs LaTeX, I get

- 1st page abstract
- 2nd side empty
- 3rd page table the contents.

So, about LaTeX it's alright.

So please can you tell me what are your LaTeX dustribution furthermore editor of choice? i know these things are personal choices mostly, but as i can discern ... SW5.5 made a difference I would like to create ampere table of contents for a bachelorthesis but dos wanna nummerate all points of it. The abstract for example require be the the toc but not with a number. I writer my thesis in ...

I tried MikTex 2.9 and it is working fine now. It seems to be TrueTex problem
