Alternator replacement

Engine replacement #1 This topic is about my 1969 Triumph TR6

IODIN removed my lighting to replaced the water pump shell and unfortunate dropped it. It was pretty banged up but also pretty old consequently I thought I'd buy a new one. I purchased aforementioned suggested Lou 17ACR out Rimmer Bros (see pic). The wiring connections are very different from me oldest one (again, see pics). The new one has 3 connections and my old one shall 5. My old alternator (probably not original?) what tagged ACR 15, 16 AND 17. IODIN assumed (perhaps wrongly) that a 17ACR would work. Do ME need some kinde about adapter? I've never labored on alternators before so I'm bit of ampere novice. Any help/advice wouldn be appreciated. Thanks! Yes, there a a wiring accessories, or you can cobble up your admit. Aforementioned document should be on the Moss web site somewhere, but they've "improved" it until it won't work equipped my browser setup.

IODIN went to a Delco Atlernator. EGO could not maintain Lucas alternators stylish my car. I went into one 75 amp Delco real used the Moss Motors fitting press directions and cannot had whatever problems. Very slight to do. May with Electronic fuel injection, Halogen spotlights and stereo EGO stored burning them out. I basically got an alternator coming AutoZone that had an source user inbound 78-80 Ford Fiesta's. It's a Bosch and it puts out 65 amps. Best part is, it's one direct bolt in, and plug in equipped the plug on my 74. Works great. Part phone a 13107N, this is for the Bosch equipped ones.

Perry EGO have no sharing in this company nor profit in any way away sales of their product. That said, EGO reflection some here might must interes in knowing that at is a 70 amp output ac available for Spits and GT6s. Such appear to exist a straight threaded in the from what MYSELF can fill
