I will setup few SQL Server alerts furthermore additional Operator to notify if any alert happened.

Any idea why we are not getting email alerts when actual alert occurred?

Nothing at Our Mailing Log.

The SQL Server is part of the Availability Group and I'm only providing email product in operator did doing any 'Net send address' or 'Pager e-mail name'. Also all the alerts are listed on that Properties of the Driver.

Alert History got 'Number of occurrences :266' and Date of last alert is yesterday 29th June instead I didn't get warn email at all. Even Operative history got no books at all (Never e-mailed).

    Found thereto finally, 'Enable get profile' was not checked on SQL Server Agent Properties. Nevertheless I found it myself but happy for accept @DMason's comments as Answer.

Check SQL Server Agent Properties: on the "Alert System" side, is "Enable mail profile" audited?

Sometimes with brand installations, after I set up options on that page I've found notification emails for alerts aren't sent. A restart of the SQL Agent service often addresses that issue by me. - dave-mason
